• News reporting today often lacks objectivity and traditionally objective media voices fade amidst a cacophony of information sources. 
• Social media has contributed to today’s echo chambers that reinforce existing opinions and limit exposure to diverse perspectives. 
• This isolation causes deepening societal divisions by polarizing citizens in environments hostile towards opposing views. 
• Town Hall in America provides an opportunity for citizens to explore today’s important topics in a unique, neutral, virtual town hall experience. Each meeting introduces a new policy issue with a “starter question”, followed by an objective AI-generated “starter response”. Attendees’ comments and questions then follow in open conversation.
• Participants will receive summaries of the themes and issues raised during each meeting to learn what is on the mind of their fellow citizens, an important requirement on a tolerant and diverse democracy.
